Okay...not really! But it sure looks like I did in the blog world!
UPDATE:
I think last time I wrote in this blog I was getting ready to quit my job and move home!
AND GUESS WHAT...
I actually did it.
Yes, I was nervous, scared, worried, couldn't sleep at night but beyond all of that, I was unhappy with my life out in the Wild Wild West. I didn't like the town, the people and I started disliking the company I had loved from the moment I interviewed with them 2 years previously. However, I knew I had to do it.
I moved October 31. Marshall flew out a few days before to help me load up the trailer and get the townhouse cleaned up. It was a stressful week, and then before I knew it, we were in my car, Sampson in the back seat (he sat up looking out the window for most of the drive! what a doll!) driving through the desert back up to Iowa.
We drove from Arizona until we reached Kansas. EXHAUSTED, we checking into a hotel room for the night.
The next morning, we got up and started the drive again, although this time we didn't take any big interstates. Just country roads on the way to pick up our newest addition. We rescued a mini schnauzer from a pet shelter in the middle of nowhere Missouri...and we named her Scarlett! (She is now a happy 8 month old puppy who adores her big brother and loves her toys).
Anyway, I got home and had a week until I started my new job. I started that job and then about a week into it got an offer from the Federal Government. Culdn't turn down...so here I am now :)
The last few months have been...just about perfect. Things have fallen right back into place and I get up every morning, I am not stressed about where my job will send me next, who will watch Sampson next time I have to travel, or how I will pay for my $1500 rent each month. I am just glad I made the decision I did.
Marshall's house has been a work in progress...we are still working on that...and I will post some pictures as soon as I figure out how? (sorry I am not good with computers, that is why I have Marshall :) )
So, I promise I will post more often!

yay for a blog post! and big changes! big changes for the BETTER. i love you!!
